Vicki Carrington

Vicki is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in customer service, business development, sales, and retail management.

Prior to moving into Property, Vicki worked at the Airport, focusing on customs and freight forwarding before moving to Vodafone,  where Vicki spent the next 12 years in various roles, including corporate, Business development leader, Operations and retail.

Her extensive experience has provided her with the expertise and skills necessary to understand people and any issues that arise from working in the property industry. Vicki’s attention to detail, communication skills, and natural ability to relate to people from all walks of life make her an invaluable asset to the industry.

Vicki is known for her honesty, hard work, and great sense of humor. She loves to travel and is always eager to learn new things.

Dave Ducker

Originally from the UK, and having been based in London for nine years after graduating from Exeter University, Dave had extensive experience with client relations and residential property. This experience has easily transferred over to his role with Goodwins.

Dave arrived in New Zealand in 2004, and has been involved with residential property ever since. He joined the Goodwins in 2006, and has been an active member within the company since this time. His portfolio has grown over the years and he has established many excellent professional relationships.

A lover of all sports (especially the oval ball), and with three young children to chase around, he keeps himself very busy away from the office as well.

 

Katy Walker

Katy began her Real Estate career in 1992 with the oldest Real Estate company in New Zealand at the time.  Her role included managing the office and a small administration team, as well as managing the accounts and trust accounts.

In 2001 Katy joined Goodwin Property Management where she oversaw the trust accounting for both Property Management and the sales side of the business.  Later on when the opportunity arose, she took on the role of Administration Manager and worked closely with Ashley and Catherine.  In 2011 Katy moved to work for another Real Estate company honing the skills already learned while working at Goodwins.

Katy returned to Goodwins in October 2020 and although she is not on the front line she still enjoys developing relationships with the suppliers and clients she has contact with on a daily basis.  It is almost 30 years since she first entered the Real Estate industry, but Katy still enjoys the daily challenges that this industry brings.

When she is not crunching numbers, Katy enjoys reading, doing volunteer work, and taking time to smell the roses.

Danielle Smith

Born and raised in Auckland, Danielle spent much of her childhood in her mother’s craft shop! Offering help to customers from a very young age, Danielle has enjoyed the rewards of giving great customer service, and interacting with people of all ages, and backgrounds.

Always having had a keen interest in property Danielle embarked on her first role in Real Estate as a receptionist in 2007. Danielle has enjoyed a diverse career pathway – evolving her expertise to serve as a PA, Property Management Assistant, and BSO (Business System’s Operator). Working across both Sales and Property Management Departments has enabled Danielle to grow her knowledge of all aspects of the real estate industry. Danielle qualified her Real Estate Salespersons Certificate from the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, and is now a Licensed Agent (REAA 2008 Licence Number 10053978).

Danielle enjoys building strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, alike; and, thrives on the day-to-day challenges and problem-solving that property management entails.

A keen fishing and rugby fan! In her spare time you will find Danielle on the side-lines of the rugby field, cheering on her young son’s Team or out on their boat catching big Snapper.

Jacques Ryan

Transitioning from the role of Residential Salesperson to Property Manager, Jacques has found the transfer of related skills to be seamless. With a solid base of property knowledge, Jacques has the know-how and skills that are crucial in understanding not only people, but the concerns that arise from working in the property industry.

Operating amidst a marketplace increasingly saturated with unlicensed operators, Jacques’ licensed, ‘no-nonsense’, but personal approach to property management, ensures he protects his client’s investment whilst maximising the value of that property’s rental return.

With a determined work ethic, and a proven attention to detail, Jacques ensures he is genuinely supporting his clients into a better financial and emotional position than if they were managing the property themselves.

Outside of the Office, Jacques is a competitive swim coach, and enjoys General Fitness pursuits. Nowadays, an avid spectator of Rugby following younger years as an Auckland Representative, and is an active Surf LifeSaver at Whangamata Surf Lifesaving Club.

Julian Burke

Always having a passion for Real Estate, Julian began his career at an early age of 17 working as an assistant to a small team of Property Managers in his hometown of Palmerston North. He embarked overseas to Brisbane, Australia where he became a letting agent for a large city-based Property Management company for almost a year and once deciding to move back, Julian was offered the opportunity to become a Property Manager at the early age of 21.

Having qualified with his Real Estate Salespersons Certificate from the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and his level 4 Property Management Certificate, Julian has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the Goodwins team. He is looking forward to building long lasting relationships, creating new opportunities, and striving to be the best!

A keen social butterfly, Julian enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking up a storm and exploring new adventures.

Kate MacGibbon

Kate has been working within the Real Estate industry for over 15 years.  Starting out as an administrator for a Sales and Property Management company in 2005, she then joined Goodwins as a Property Manager in December 2007. 

Kate left to have her younger two children in 2015 and was a stay at home mum for several years.  Kate returned to Goodwins in 2019 to take on the role of Collections Administrator.  Her experience in Administration and Property Management meant this role was a natural progression to return to the workforce.  Combining two of her passions – property and people.

Kate works alongside our Property Managers and Tenants, to ensure we follow our policies and procedures around rent and water arrears, so that we can deliver the excellence we pride ourselves on.

When not working, Kate can be found spending time with her children, or frequenting one of the many beautiful beaches or bush walks our country has to offer. 

Krysta Hoani

After spending 3 years in Florida, USA on a sports scholarship, Krysta moved back home to New Zealand to be closer to her whānau and embark on her career; which she has now gained 6+ years of customer service experience.

Krysta joined the Goodwins team in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. She thrives on working in a fast-paced & positive environment whilst delivering exceptional customer service. She is a highly approachable individual who has a pleasant attitude and a willingness to make a positive mark.

In her spare time, you will find her exploring the outdoors and attempting to hit home runs on the softball diamond in New Zealand and all around the world representing her country with the New Zealand White Sox.

Nikki Ramage-Pladet

Originally from the UK and an ex-NCO of the British Army having served for nine years, and then running her own Public House, Nikki emigrated to New Zealand in 2007. Having a background in operations she has pursued a career in management and then transferred to residential property management in 2016.

Her passion for the industry, drive, and determination coupled with her down to earth and approachable nature, Nikki is looking forward to building on relationships and is a solid member of the Goodwin’s team!

Outside of work, Nikki is kept busy running after her two Miniature Schnauzers Poppy & Snoopy, and Rosie the Chocolate Labrador, and of course, following everything All Blacks!!

Raewyn Millington

Raewyn is a highly experienced Property Manager, who has been servicing Auckland’s Real Estate market for more than 18 years. Complemented by 6-years as a customer relationship and personal manager at Westpac Bank. 

Being a property owner, and investor herself, Raewyn knows what is expected to ensure that her client’s investments are professionally managed to a very high standard.  Raewyn is motivated by her regular, positive client-feedback, and remains dedicated to delivering a quality property management service to her clients. Real Estate is ‘in Raewyn’s blood’ … Her father enjoyed a career spanning nigh on 50 years! Goodwins’ is extremely proud to have now welcomed Raewyn to our ‘Real Estate family‘.
