Vicki Carrington

Vicki is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in customer service, business development, sales, and retail management.

Prior to moving into Property, Vicki worked at the Airport, focusing on customs and freight forwarding before moving to Vodafone,  where Vicki spent the next 12 years in various roles, including corporate, Business development leader, Operations and retail.

Her extensive experience has provided her with the expertise and skills necessary to understand people and any issues that arise from working in the property industry. Vicki’s attention to detail, communication skills, and natural ability to relate to people from all walks of life make her an invaluable asset to the industry.

Vicki is known for her honesty, hard work, and great sense of humor. She loves to travel and is always eager to learn new things.

Dave Ducker

Originally from the UK, and having been based in London for nine years after graduating from Exeter University, Dave had extensive experience with client relations and residential property. This experience has easily transferred over to his role with Goodwins.

Dave arrived in New Zealand in 2004, and has been involved with residential property ever since. He joined the Goodwins in 2006, and has been an active member within the company since this time. His portfolio has grown over the years and he has established many excellent professional relationships.

A lover of all sports (especially the oval ball), and with three young children to chase around, he keeps himself very busy away from the office as well.

 

Katy Walker

Katy began her Real Estate career in 1992 with the oldest Real Estate company in New Zealand at the time.  Her role included managing the office and a small administration team, as well as managing the accounts and trust accounts.

In 2001 Katy joined Goodwin Property Management where she oversaw the trust accounting for both Property Management and the sales side of the business.  Later on when the opportunity arose, she took on the role of Administration Manager and worked closely with Ashley and Catherine.  In 2011 Katy moved to work for another Real Estate company honing the skills already learned while working at Goodwins.

Katy returned to Goodwins in October 2020 and although she is not on the front line she still enjoys developing relationships with the suppliers and clients she has contact with on a daily basis.  It is over 30 years since she first entered the Real Estate industry, but Katy still enjoys the daily challenges that this industry brings.

When she is not crunching numbers, Katy enjoys reading, doing volunteer work, and taking time to smell the roses.

Julian Burke

Always having a passion for Real Estate, Julian began his career at just 17, working as an assistant to a small team of Property Managers in his hometown of Palmerston North. He soon embarked overseas to Brisbane, Australia, where he became a letting agent for a large city-based Property Management company. Upon returning to New Zealand, Julian was offered the opportunity to step into a Property Manager role at the early age of 21.

Now at Goodwins, Julian has evolved into a dual role as Business Development and Property Manager. He is exceptional at generating new business and takes pride in being client-centric—ensuring every new landlord experiences a seamless onboarding journey. Julian’s strength lies in matching the right tenant to the right property, creating long-lasting value for both owners and residents alike.

Holding both his Real Estate Salespersons Certificate from the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and his Level 4 Property Management Certificate, Julian brings a wealth of knowledge, practical expertise, and professionalism to the Goodwins team. He is committed to building enduring relationships, creating opportunities, and striving for excellence in everything he does.

A keen social butterfly, Julian enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking up a storm, and exploring new adventures.

Kate MacGibbon

With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role as Property Management Executive Assistant at Goodwins. She began her career in 2005 as an administrator for a Sales and Property Management company before joining Goodwins as a Property Manager in 2007.

After welcoming her younger two children in 2015, Kate took several years away from the workforce to focus on her family. She returned to Goodwins in 2019 as a Collections Administrator, a natural progression that combined her extensive background in administration and property management with her passion for both property and people.

In her current role, Kate works closely with our Head of Property Management and wider team, to ensure all policies and procedures, including those around rent and water arrears, are followed with care and precision.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her children and exploring New Zealand’s many beaches and bush walks.

Krysta Hoani

Krysta has been a valued member of the Goodwins team since 2019, bringing over five years of property management experience to her role. With an NZQA Property Management qualification and a strong background in customer service, she is recognised for her calm, professional approach and commitment to delivering excellent results for both landlords and tenants.

Krysta takes pride in building strong, lasting relationships with her clients, ensuring that every property is well-managed and each tenancy runs smoothly. Known for her attention to detail, clear communication, and efficiency, she manages everything from routine inspections to maintenance coordination with care and professionalism.

Outside of work, Krysta enjoys travelling, relaxing at the beach, and going on camping trips around Aotearoa. She is also passionate about softball and staying active, bringing the same energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm to her professional life that she enjoys in her personal pursuits. Krysta has proudly represented Auckland internationally in the under-13s to under-19s White Sox softball teams.

Nikki Ramage-Pladet

Originally from the United Kingdom, Nikki served nine years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the British Army before running her own Public House. She emigrated to New Zealand in 2007 and has since built a successful career in operations and management, later transitioning to residential property management in 2016.

Nikki’s passion for the property industry, combined with her drive, determination, and approachable nature, makes her a trusted and valued member of the Goodwins team. She enjoys fostering strong relationships with clients, ensuring every property is managed efficiently and professionally, with a personal touch that sets her apart.

Outside of work, Nikki’s life is kept lively by her three dogs – Miniature Schnauzers Poppy and Snoopy, and Rosie the Chocolate Labrador. She is also an avid supporter of the All Blacks and loves spending time enjoying New Zealand’s outdoor lifestyle, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to her work as she does to her personal passions.

Raewyn Millington

Raewyn is a highly experienced Property Manager, bringing over 23 years of expertise in Auckland’s real estate market to her role at Goodwins. Her career is complemented by six years as a Customer Relationship and Personal Manager at Westpac Bank, where she honed her communication, organisation, and client service skills.

As a property owner and investor herself, Raewyn understands what it takes to ensure every client’s investment is professionally managed to the highest standard. She takes pride in delivering a service that is proactive, personalised, and results-driven, and is continually motivated by the regular positive feedback she receives from clients.

Real estate runs in Raewyn’s blood – her father enjoyed a career in Auckland spanning nearly 50 years in the industry. Goodwins is proud to welcome Raewyn to our Real Estate family, where her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care make her a trusted partner for both landlords and tenants.

Beyond her professional life, she finds balance through Pilates and yoga. With her family now grown, she has embraced new adventures, including tramping and e-biking with friends. She is also a loyal supporter of the All Blacks.

Sue Christie

Sue joined Goodwins following several years managing a relationship team in the holiday home industry and brings with her extensive experience within the accommodation and hospitality sectors at management level. Her background has provided her with a deep understanding of customer care, operational efficiency, and the importance of attention to detail in property management.

Known for her efficiency, follow-through, and “can-do” attitude, Sue ensures every property under her care is managed to the highest standard – with a focus on maximising returns for owners and maintaining positive relationships with tenants. In recognition of her outstanding commitment to the industry, Sue was awarded the REINZ Rising Star – Residential Property Manager of the Year in 2020.

Empathetic, professional, and down-to-earth, Sue is valued by both clients and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, she enjoys entertaining, spending time with her extended family, and embracing life’s lighter moments with her trademark sense of humour.

Sophia Goodwin

Meet Sophia, a dynamic individual with a diverse background, adding a unique perspective to the Goodwins team. New Zealand born, she began her career as a hairdresser but soon craved more. Her adventurous spirit led her to work aboard international cruise ships for six years, broadening her horizons and honing her exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

As the dedicated and efficient Frontline Administrator at Goodwins, Sophia thrives in her role. Her unwavering attention to detail and proactive nature ensure seamless and efficient office operations. With a well-organised approach, she manages multiple tasks and prioritises effectively, guaranteeing flawless execution of all administrative processes.

Outside of work, Sophia cherishes quality time with her beloved family and close-knit circle of friends, creating lasting memories and sharing unforgettable experiences. Sophia’s multifaceted background and impressive skill set make her an invaluable asset to the Goodwins team. Moreover, her worldly experiences allow her to connect with others on a deeper level, adding warmth and understanding to every interaction.
