Sarah Thompson

Property Management was always meant to be for Sarah, growing up in Auckland with her parents in Real Estate. Sarah has spent 12 years in property management, so has seen it all. Prior to property management Sarah spent 15+ years in the Hospitality Industry.

Sarah brings to the team, strong customer service, honesty and a strong work ethic , which benefits not only her client/landlords but also her tenants. With her no nonsense but friendly demeaner, Sarah embraces the challenges that property managers face on a daily basis.

Sarah has just completed her Level 4 Property Management Certificate.

When not working Sarah enjoys spending time with her 2 boys, family and fur babies.

Sue Christie

Sue came to Goodwins after a period managing a relationship team in the holiday home industry and has had an extensive background in the accommodation sector of the hospitality industry, at management level.

Her efficiency, follow through and attention to detail are second to none and her “can do” attitude will ensure your property is very well cared for and your returns maximised.

In 2020 these efforts were recognised as she won the REINZ Rising Star – Residential Property Manager of the Year award.

Sue is well known for her empathetic nature and her sense of humour and outside of the office, she loves to entertain and is busy with extended family.

 

Sophia Goodwin

Meet Sophia, a dynamic individual with a diverse background, adding a unique perspective to the Goodwins team. New Zealand born, she began her career as a hairdresser but soon craved more. Her adventurous spirit led her to work aboard international cruise ships for six years, broadening her horizons and honing her exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

As the dedicated and efficient Frontline Administrator at Goodwins, Sophia thrives in her role. Her unwavering attention to detail and proactive nature ensure seamless and efficient office operations. With a well-organised approach, she manages multiple tasks and prioritises effectively, guaranteeing flawless execution of all administrative processes.

Outside of work, Sophia cherishes quality time with her beloved family and close-knit circle of friends, creating lasting memories and sharing unforgettable experiences. Sophia’s multifaceted background and impressive skill set make her an invaluable asset to the Goodwins team. Moreover, her worldly experiences allow her to connect with others on a deeper level, adding warmth and understanding to every interaction.

Tina Chang

Originally from Taiwan, Tina moved to New Zealand in 2009 and has the added advantage of being bilingual, speaking both English and Mandarin.

With an eye for detail and a strong belief in efficiency and great customer service, she is passionate about prior planning and organisational skills- creating strong and lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants.

Whether you are making the decision to have your property professionally managed for the first time; or if you are a seasoned investor looking to move your portfolio from another company, Tina understands this process can be daunting for you. Having worked in customer-facing roles for most of her career, she thrives on working collaboratively with landlords to find solutions for their property management needs and requirements.

Tina enjoys helping landlords to make sure they are maximising their investments with a personalised approach. She doesn’t stand for rent arrears and quickly acts in her client’s best interest. She believes that in business, customer satisfaction and prompt communication are key.

Organised and friendly, she always strives to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional results.

Jake Cartwright

Introducing Jake Cartwright, our dynamic new cadet property manager with a unique background in the construction industry. Jake’s journey began as a builder apprentice, where he honed his skills and developed a keen eye for property maintenance and enhancement. With over 5 years of hands-on experience in construction, Jake seamlessly transitioned into the role of property management, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge and a practical approach to our team.

Born and raised in Auckland, Jake is a passionate outdoors enthusiast with a particular love for snowboarding, skiing, and NZ’s beautiful mountains, Cadrona being his favourite spot. His background in the instructing industry and past participation in North Island championships speak to his commitment to excellence and continual self-improvement.

With a rich background as a seasoned Customer Service Manager, Onnie brings a strategic perspective to the oversight of properties and the cultivation of harmonious communities.

Beyond her professional role, Onnie is an approachable individual with a knack for navigating both the intricacies of property management and our client’s needs. Her leadership skills, honed through diverse roles ranging from Customer Service Manager to Operations Manager, set Onnie apart. Outside of work, Onnie finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her family and exploring the ever-evolving world of fashion, adding a personal touch to her collaborative efforts.

Monica McFarlane

Introducing Monica, our seasoned Property Management Specialist with over 5 years of industry experience. Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Adelaide, Australia, Monica recently made the vibrant city of Auckland her new home after a successful stint in Hamilton.

With a passion for creating seamless and enjoyable living experiences, Monica brings a wealth of knowledge to our Property Management to our team.
