Vicki is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in customer service, business development, sales, and retail management.

Prior to moving into Property, Vicki worked at the Airport, focusing on customs and freight forwarding before moving to Vodafone,  where Vicki spent the next 12 years in various roles, including corporate, Business development leader, Operations and retail.

Her extensive experience has provided her with the expertise and skills necessary to understand people and any issues that arise from working in the property industry. Vicki’s attention to detail, communication skills, and natural ability to relate to people from all walks of life make her an invaluable asset to the industry.

Vicki is known for her honesty, hard work, and great sense of humor. She loves to travel and is always eager to learn new things.

Jon Lawry

Jon Lawry is Goodwins’ specialist in short and mid-term accommodation, advising owners, investors, and partners operating at the premium end of the market.

Jon’s career spans over 25 years and many facets of property, including; construction, specialist valuation, corporate finance, and premium residential accommodation. Graduating with a BSc in Construction Management in the UK, he worked in Project Management before moving to Australia and transitioning into Specialised Asset Valuation. His valuation career culminated at KPMG, where he established and led the Tangible Asset Valuation Services division within Corporate Finance, delivering complex valuation work supporting major transactions and financial reporting.

After relocating to New Zealand, Jon identified a gap in the market for professionally managed, high end short and mid-term accommodation with a guest experience focus and founded The Urban Butler in 2017. He built the business into one of Auckland’s leading premium operators before successfully exiting in 2024 through a sale to an international group.

In 2022 Jon was appointed as the inaugural New Zealand board director at ASTRA (Australia and New Zealand Short Term Rental Association), where he advocated for professional standards and practical regulation during a period of significant industry change.

Jon is known for his commercial mindset, strong negotiation skills, and ability to structure practical solutions for complex property challenges. His approach is analytical, pragmatic, and relationship driven, focused on delivering outcomes that stand up commercially.

Jon’s network is far reaching and is testament to his curiosity to find commonality and create friendships with people from all walks of life.  A recognised industry voice, Jon has presented at conferences across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Australia.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family, music, travel, cooking, snowboarding, diving, boating, and exploring great food and wine.

Christine Ryan

In 2023, Christine made a significant transition from her role as a Portfolio Property Manager to a dedicated Business Development and Real Estate Sales position with Goodwins. This move brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of expertise to every transaction she handles.

Lucy Byrne

Since joining Goodwins in 2020 as Assistant to the Business Development team, Lucy has risen swiftly through the ranks—earning her place as one of our top-performing Business Development Managers. Her success is grounded in over a decade of customer service experience, sharpened by her quick wit, dedication to learning, and a tireless work ethic.

Lucy is known for her warm, solution-focused approach and ability to build lasting relationships. Whether working with new or long-standing landlords, or liaising with tenants, she delivers service marked by clear communication, careful attention to detail, and unwavering professionalism. Passionate about the fast-paced world of property, Lucy continues to thrive in helping clients make informed, confident decisions.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys nature, good food and wine, and continuous personal growth. In December 2025, she welcomed her beautiful baby daughter, Frankie, embracing an exciting new chapter alongside her career.

Julian Burke

Always passionate about real estate, Julian began his career at just 17 as an assistant to a small team of Property Managers in his hometown of Palmerston North. He later ventured to Brisbane, Australia, where he worked as a Letting Agent for a large city-based Property Management company. Returning to New Zealand, Julian stepped into a Property Manager role at the age of 21, building extensive experience managing a diverse portfolio and developing a deep understanding of the industry from the ground up.

Today, Julian is focused on what he does best as a Business Development Manager at Goodwins. His genuine passion for people, natural ability to build relationships, and commitment to exceptional service make him perfectly suited to helping property owners maximise the value of their investments.

What sets Julian apart is his extensive property management background. Having spent years managing properties firsthand, he understands the realities of ownership beyond simply winning new business. He is able to provide practical, experience-based advice, helping landlords make informed decisions while ensuring they are matched with the right management solution for their individual needs.

Holding both his Real Estate Salesperson Certificate from the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and his Level 4 Property Management Certificate, Julian combines technical expertise with a personable, client-first approach. He is dedicated to building long-term relationships founded on trust, transparency, and delivering outstanding results.

Outside of work, Julian is a self-confessed social butterfly who enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking up a storm, and seeking out new adventures.

Richard Lambeth

Richard returned to Auckland in late 2020 after several successful years in London’s competitive residential sales and lettings market. His international experience has provided him with a deep understanding of client needs, communication, and the importance of exceptional service.

With a background spanning both real estate and the arts, Richard brings a creative yet practical approach to every aspect of his work. He prides himself on his ability to connect with people from all walks of life, ensuring that both property owners and tenants receive a professional, transparent, and attentive service.

Laurence Pommier

We are thrilled to welcome Laurence to the Goodwins team as our new Office Administrator in Parnell. Laurence brings a wealth of experience and a vibrant personality to our Property Management, Business Development, and Sales teams. Her diverse background and extensive knowledge will undoubtedly enhance our operations and provide exceptional support to both our clients and team members.

Originally from Paris, Laurence has travelled extensively before settling in Auckland 20 years ago. She began her career as a French teacher in Northern Ireland, later thriving in various administrative roles in Paris. Her journey then took her to Tahiti, where she met her husband, and together built a successfully jewellery business. They both fell in love with New Zealand, so they relocated to educate their twins and opened a jewellery boutique in central Auckland.

Laurence is known for her people-oriented approach, boundless curiosity, and engaging sense of humor. Fluent in four languages and with a deep understanding of diverse cultures, she is adept at connecting with people from all walks of life. Outside of work, Laurence enjoys watching movies, writing, swimming, and exploring the outdoors. She is also embracing new challenges now with flying lessons.
