Principle 5 is reference that the Office of the Privacy Commissioner has advised prevents onward transmission of full copy of tenant’s application – as this embeds copy of drivers licence or passports, amongst a vast amount of other personal information.
Landlord is welcome to our office to review if it is critical to their decision making. But, they cannot remove from our office – as again, we have then lost control; but remain 100% liable.
