New Zealand’s newly introduced Healthy Homes Standards introduce specific and minimum standards for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture ingress and drainage, and draught stopping in rental properties.

From 1 December 2020, most new or renewed tenancy agreements must include specific information about the landlord’s current level of compliance with the healthy homes standards.
