A west-facing corner residence on the seventh floor of Wynyard Quarter, designed by Studio Pacific Architecture and finished by the owners to a standard well above the building’s spec. 144 square metres of interior, a 35 square metre full-width terrace, three bedrooms with balcony access, a separate media room, and harbour and Harbour Bridge views from almost every wall. Two secure car parks. Self-arrival by digital lock, our team there when you want them and invisible when you don’t.

The apartment is a corner residence in the truest sense. Two full sides face the water, which means the harbour is with you from the moment you walk in and stays with you wherever you settle. The kitchen looks at it, the living room opens onto it, the bedrooms wake to it, the terrace wraps around the side of the building to catch the last of the western light.

The interior was lifted well beyond the developer finish by owners who knew what they wanted. Miele runs the kitchen end to end. Stone benches, integrated joinery, no compromise pieces. The living and dining flow as one room, anchored by an oversized sofa and a dining table positioned so that conversation never has to compete with the view. Glass doors fold back and the inside becomes the outside. In summer that's where the entertaining happens. In winter the same room holds its warmth and the view does the heavy lifting.

The terrace runs the full width of the west face, thirty-five square metres of usable outdoor living. There's a covered dining setting, lounge seating angled toward the water, and enough room left over that nothing feels crowded. From here the harbour is never the same view twice. Ferries and yachts cross the Waitematā by day. The Harbour Bridge catches the last of the sun and holds it for an hour. When SailGP or the summer regattas are on the foiling boats tear across the water right in front of you. The frame stays the same, the picture never stops changing.

All three bedrooms open to a balcony. The master is generously sized and faces the harbour directly, the second and third are quieter and sit closer to the city side. A separate media room sits off the main living area, which gives the apartment a second living zone for guests who want to peel off from the group, or a working space for anyone here on longer stays. Two bathrooms, both finished to the same standard as the rest of the apartment.

The neighbourhood

Wynyard Quarter is Auckland's waterfront precinct and the apartment sits at the heart of it. The Viaduct, Silo Park, the ferry terminal, Victoria Park and the CBD are all walkable from the front door. Dining at this end of the city is varied and serious: harbourside seafood, fine dining, casual eateries that pull in the lunch crowd from the surrounding offices. The waterfront promenade runs in both directions from the building and is the way most people choose to move between Wynyard and the city.

For guests arriving by car, the two secure car parks make that easy. Once you're here the precinct is walkable and most things you'll want are within a few blocks.
