Krysta Hoani

After spending 3 years in Florida, USA on a sports scholarship, Krysta moved back home to New Zealand to be closer to her whānau and embark on her career; which she has now gained 6+ years of customer service experience.

Krysta joined the Goodwins team in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. She thrives on working in a fast-paced & positive environment whilst delivering exceptional customer service. She is a highly approachable individual who has a pleasant attitude and a willingness to make a positive mark.

In her spare time, you will find her exploring the outdoors and attempting to hit home runs on the softball diamond in New Zealand and all around the world representing her country with the New Zealand White Sox.

Tina Chang

Originally from Taiwan, Tina moved to New Zealand in 2009 and has the added advantage of being bilingual, speaking both English and Mandarin.

With an eye for detail and a strong belief in efficiency and great customer service, she is passionate about prior planning and organisational skills – creating strong and lasting relationships with both landlords and tenants.

Whether you are making the decision to have your property professionally managed for the first time; or if you are a seasoned investor looking to move your portfolio from another company – Tina understands this process can be daunting for you. Having worked in customer-facing roles for most of her career, she thrives on working collaboratively with landlords to find solutions for their property management needs and requirements.

Being focused on growth Tina also enjoys helping landlords to make sure they are maximising their investments with a personalised approach. She doesn’t stand for rent arrears and quickly acts in her client’s best interest. She understands that in business, customer satisfaction and prompt communication are key and often under-appreciated qualities.

With continuous support and training, Tina is at the forefront of any industry changes that could affect your property, particularly when it relates to the seemingly endless requirements in law and the Residential Tenancies Act 1986.

Tina prides herself on being able to handle and solve any issues that comes up during the tenancy and is proud to be a member of the Goodwin team working alongside a fantastic group of talented and experienced individuals.

Organised and friendly, she always strives to exceed client expectations and deliver exceptional results. Tina understands that being a successful property manager doesn’t just mean understanding the science behind managing finance and properties, but also learning how to relate to everyone and deal with any situation that comes her way.

Louise Boreham

Louise comes from a strong new & existing business development background. With a myriad of experience in industries ranging from information technology, telecommunications, to high end residential and commercial landscaping. Her love of property and the industry has grown with her personal experience in residential builds and rebuilds, refurbishments/interiors and having tenants herself.

She has progressed from her starting role as Business Assistant to Brendan Goodwin, which saw her make Finalist for REINZ Awards 2020, to an Executive Assistant role for Catherine Goodwin.

Louise is passionate and dedicated to anything she puts her mind to, in and out of business. Some of the things you will find her enjoying out of business are renovating, gardening and looking after her bees.

Tyler James

Tyler’s most recent employment role was in the hospitality, travel, and tourism industry. She relocated to Queenstown upon graduating high school to undertake further education, studying a Diploma in Hospitality Management.

During her time there, she was able to gain direct industry experience and learn from some of the most renowned tourism operators.

Tyler was fortunate enough to learn from such a prospering and professional environment and is wanting diversify experience and career through Goodwin Property Management.

Lucy Byrne

Banking over ten years of customer service experience, Lucy decided to join the ever changing and exciting property industry. Lucy prides herself in delivering exceptional customer service to all landlords,  new and existing, with strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Kate MacGibbon

Kate has been working within the Real Estate industry for over 15 years.  Starting out as an administrator for a Sales and Property Management company in 2005, she then joined Goodwins as a Property Manager in December 2007. 

Kate left to have her younger two children in 2015 and was a stay at home mum for several years.  Kate returned to Goodwins in 2019 to take on the role of Collections Administrator.  Her experience in Administration and Property Management meant this role was a natural progression to return to the workforce.  Combining two of her passions – property and people.

Kate works alongside our Property Managers and Tenants, to ensure we follow our policies and procedures around rent and water arrears, so that we can deliver the excellence we pride ourselves on.

When not working, Kate can be found spending time with her children, or frequenting one of the many beautiful beaches or bush walks our country has to offer. 

Katy Walker

Katy began her Real Estate career in 1992 with the oldest Real Estate company in New Zealand at the time.  Her role included managing the office and a small administration team, as well as managing the accounts and  trust accounts.

In 2001 Katy joined Goodwin Property Management where she oversaw the trust accounting for both Property Management and the sales side of the business.  Later on when the opportunity arose, she took on the role of Administration Manager and working closely with Ashley and Catherine.  In 2011 Katy moved to work for another Real Estate company honing the skills already learned while working at Goodwins.

Katy returned to Goodwins in October 2020 and although she is not on the front line she still enjoys developing relationships with the suppliers and clients she has contact with on a daily basis.  It is almost 30 years since she first entered the Real Estate industry, but Katy still enjoys the daily challenges that this industry brings.

And when she is not crunching numbers, Katy enjoys reading, doing volunteer work and taking time to smell the roses.
